Come stay in the original Tommy Bahama decorated showcase home for Laurel Grove! Our cottage has a master suite downstairs (king) with a private entrance from the front porch. There are two bedrooms upstairs (queens) with a sleeper sofa sitting area suitable for kids or office. The cottage comes with a TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo in the great room along with TVs and DVDs in all three bedrooms and free Wi-Fi! You will love our lakefront views and large deck overlooking the Lake. We are located on the 18th tee and fairway of the Raven Golf Course! Our cottage boasts high ceilings and doorways, heart-of-pine hardwood floors, and a custom gourmet kitchen. It is fully furnished and lavishly decorated throughout. We are only a one-minute walk to the private Laurel Grove community clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, dressing rooms, restrooms, lounge chairs, kitchen facilities and extra guest parking. We also have 4 bikes (3 Adults, 1 child) for your enjoyment, no rental needed. We have available for renting a golf cart which you may add to your booking as a golf cart is a great way to get around this 2400 acre resort. (Golf carts may only be obtained from authorized Sandestin owners.)
Laurel Grove is located in the beautiful gated Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida and is one of the newest communities in the Resort. The resort is uniquely positioned on 2400 acres of beautiful property that stretches between the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and calm warm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay. On site are four championship golf courses, swimming pools, walking and biking trails, fishing, marina, over 40 shops, award winning restaurants and wonderful nightlife. There are also many children’s’ attractions and places to play such as Jolee Island. Sandestin has it all. We have vacationed in the Sandestin area for the last 6 years but this was the first time I've used Have Travel Memories to book the trip. They were exceptionally helpful and professional,the house was immaculate when we arrived, and every ammenity was as promised. It allowed my family to focus on having a great time without being concerned about the details. Dave even provided his personal phone number in the event I hade any issues when we arrived. This was a great house for our family. We have two small children and they easily adapted to the home like quality of this cottage. We ate lunch/breakfast on the back porch while my husband and son fished right off the back. It was very convenient to the pool. I highly recommend renting the golf cart as a great way to get to the village and the beach.
Our stay here was great! We enjoyed the close proximity to the pool and the golf course. The home was very clean and included all the amenities we needed. As well, I read in another review there was no Hdtv - however - this is incorrect as the TV available during our stay did in fact have HD if you went high enough on the channels. Additionally, the cottage is only a short distance from a spectacular beach. The area itself was quiet and was an a great spot to relax and recharge. We are looking forward to our next visit.
The cottage was beatiful, clean and comfortable thoughout. The cottage was close to all the ameneties. We also found it to be good value which allowed us to maxmize our vacation dollars. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back! Thanks!

Date of stay – May 9th to 16th , 2011 Our week in Paradise is coming to a close. Hats off to your beautiful Tommy Bahama beach cottage – it’s truly a piece of heaven. Everything at our fingertips, outstanding decor, home-like ambience, and a real feeling of peace and comfort…we just don’t want to leave! Loved having the golf cart and bikes, it was so much fun touring the resort at a leisurely pace. Favorite spots included the swimming pool, the markets, the beach and the spectacular scenery. We had a "sun-sational" Spring break in your Tommy Bahama home ! :) This is our 8th year coming to Sandestin.......and we all voted your house # 1! Thank you so much for the wide - range of amenities. Renting your golf cart was a first....and a favorite..for us! Our kids will never ever settle for bikes only in Sandestin again! Also..... thanks a million for allowing us to bring our best ever four - legged friend! Peyton loved playing with her soccer ball in the courtyard out front. We loved the beautiful, landscaped grounds of the Sandestin G and B Resort and all the conveniences it afforded us. Our youngest son caught many a bass right outside the back porch and loved having fishing so close by. If the beaches were not nearby, we would have never wanted to leave the cottage! Needless to say, we had lots of fun on them too. An absolutely perfect vacation that we all five thoroughly enjoyed. :) We look forward to coming back!
An experience to be remembered! Guest: A & M(Summerside, PE, Canada) Date of Stay: 01/03/11 When we walked through the doors of this beautiful property, we felt at home instantly. Such a warm, welcoming place with all the comforts of home and yet the amenities of a high end resort. Nestled in a private, picturesque gated community, the home is conveniently located within minutes of Publix, Starbucks and numerous shops and restaurants. The location makes it ideal to walk, bike or take the golf cart, both of which are available. We had a wonderful two weeks enjoying all this property had to offer. Breakfast was enjoyed on the back porch while watching the ducks in the ponds and the many different bird species in the trees. A very short walk to the fitness center or a golf cart drive to one of the many beautiful golf courses each day was much appreciated. The spectacular beach is very close by and no need to go on the road to get there. In the evening we could choose to grill outdoors, cook in the abundantly equipped kitchen or walk to one of the many nice restaurants near by. For the shoppers in the family, the largest outlet Complex in the nation is five minutes away. We loved our first visit to this area and it was made even more special by staying at this wonderful property. It has everything you would want for a fantastic holiday, warmly decorated and very well equipped with everything. There is lots of friendly support available on check-in and throughout the stay if needed. It certainly tops the list of our many experiences in the South over the years. Thanks so much!! The quiet location, surroundings and plan layout are it's best features. Internally there are some issues: a) ceramic tiled kitchen/bathroom countertops wrong surface (tough and impossable to keep clean and are outdated/worn), b) main bedroom mattress too soft, c) Living Room TV should be replaced with HD and the armoir is far too large for the room (overpowers space), e) sofas are uncomfortable. Otherwise we have reserved again for 2012
We have been coming to Sandestin for years this was by far our best trip. This location was fabulous, I love the deck overlooking the lake to relax on. We loved having the Golf cart to get around the resort and even for dinner @ PF Changs. The home is very nicely furnished and so comfortable. We will use you guys again because it was a the best so far! Thanks Sissy
