This Villa is newly remodeled and furnished!! Additionally featured is a privately fenced back yard with outdoor tables, chairs and an outdoor grill. Our Master includes 1 King with a flat screen TV, and the guest bedroom is a Queen. Our Kitchen has been updated with Granite counter tops and new appliances and tiled floors, it comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. We even prepare for your stay by stocking the property with 2 beach towels, paper goods to start you off, all linens, dish washer soap, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, internet, beach chairs and umbrella. For your enjoyment, we have provided two coaster bicycles for riding miles of paved streets and trails in the resort.
This is located in a gated, exclusive family vacation spot! You get it all, white sand beaches, the bay, the lakes, the exciting Baytowne Wharf Village with its restaurants, live entertainment, activities and the very exclusive Marina at the Wharf, swimming pool, lighted walking and biking trails, shopping, ice-cream parlors, etc…There are a lot of fun activities for the kids, they even have Jolee Island: an island park with a pirate theme with lots of playground equipment. Or you can enjoy the many lakes in the resort for catch and release fishing. There is something for all ages from family movies on the green to concerts and nightlife of dancing and family fun. You can play on the beach all day, then party at the Baytowne Wharf Village all night.

The directions given were miss leading the directions stated it was off Sanddestin Blvd. but it is off autobahn. The listing agent indicated that they were with the resort group, I found out after arival that we could not ride the local transportation that was operated by the resort and I was told that the resort changed two years ago and nolonger offed that service as well as maid service. That is not the case the resort has transporation and maid service but the listing service failed to inform me that their is an additional cost for the service. I call the listing service and informed them that the house was dirty and need to be cleaned, a man came over and told me he had inspected the home and it was clean but I ask him if he lived in qa house with dirt and trash on the floor. He said that the agency would call me about the cleaning, A woman call and Persented her self as the CEO, my wife ask her if she was the owner and she said no, my wife finaly got her to admit she was part of the family that owned the house and part of the agency she than ask my wife if she was to good to pick up and clean? I did not go on vacation with my wife for her to clean a house she is on vacation also. Bottom line the service was bad, was told half truth that were deciving, and the agency was insulting to my wife I would not recomend this agency to anyone and would recomend that they call the resort to find a house that falls under the resort plan for a real vacation and costomer service
Guest was given directions and a map. Previous guests have not had difficulty finding this property. The resort roads are clearly marked and there are only 2 turns from the gate entrance. All amenities are available on our web site as well as reviewed in the guest agreement. Maid service is available per guest request at their own expense. This unit is fully equipped including a washer/dryer. The cleanliness issue turned out to be literally a thread on the area rug which was surrounded by fabric dog toys their dog was currently playing with. This brought to our attention that they had an unauthorized pet in the property. They claimed they were going to tell us about the pet. They were then in direct violation of our agreement as all pets must be approved prior to arrival. Even though we had other guests waiting for an opening as this was a holiday weekend we allowed these guests to continue their vacation. We have rented with you for a number of years now, and as much as we like the location, layout of the Linkside house, we found that it still is needing improvements to meet the standard of your other rental properties (i.e. windows and screens, not having a landline was very inconvenient, beds not so comfortable, lacking in some of the nice extras (dishes, glasses, mugs, place mats, etc.)
Sally, we appreciate your constructive review and we have fixed everything we have been able to get approval for by the owner. The screen doors have been replaced and the kitchen was inspected again. For spring & summer vacation rentals the kitchen is stocked with a normal amount of plates, mugs, mats, etc. as most of our other rentals, but for snowbird guests its true this may not be enough.
Villa was adequate - had all the necessities. Resort was great w exception of pools not heated in March - neither were hot tubs. TMV was responsive and friendly when called - they seemed to try to be helpful and care about our experience.
