The service through Travel Memories was outstanding. I sent lots of emails asking questions and they were always timely and courteous to answer. The staff at Tidewater's desk did leave a little to be desired however, the resort has the most wonderful view. I sat at the Library area and watched the dolphins play. It was just the perfect distance from the grocery store and the new pier park. We visited it frequently on our trip. We will definitely be back.
This was the perfect place for our long weekend vacation. Plenty of room for 4 adults and one child. Central location to restaurants and activities. And, most importantly, directly on the beach!! Thanks again Denise
My girlfriend and I spent almost 2 weeks at Tidewater over the July 4 long weekend. We've vacationed in Destin a few times but never stayed in Panama City Beach. What a pleasant surprise this area was. Panama City Beach is a small strip of land lined with some of the most beautiful stretches of beach you'll find in the US. I've always said give me an ocean and some sunshine and the accommodations come second. However, what a difference it makes to have all the comforts of home found in 600 Tidewater. Hotels just can't compete! We used the Kitchen (Which is stocked with everything you need.. even a dishwasher) everyday which gave us more time to spend on the beach as opposed to running out to restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The unit has two full bathrooms so getting ready was quick and stress free. It also has LCD Flat screen TV's in both bedrooms as well as the livingroom (3 in total) which is a great touch. We had a little rain one morning and lying in bed watching TV on a weekday? really made it feel like a vacation. They even have a radio/cd player so make sure to bring all your favourite CD's. We had such an amazing stay I'm having a difficult time keeping this review short and sweet! Although there is lots to do along the strip one recommendation is to go to the Boatyard Restaurant for dinner. It is a bit of a drive (10-15min) but it is well worth it. It's the perfect Florida restaurant right on the water and lets just say we're still talking about the food! Thanks again for a memorable vacation at 600 Tidewater!!
I did not have a pen or paper or i would have left a note about some things that need attention. 1.The master bath sink drain needs to be cleaned. 2. The light over tub in master bath is out. At work I do building maintainance. Thanks for a good place on the beach.
This was a nice unit, on the 6th floor just over the pool. Well furnished and supplied. Would have been nice to have a pot scrubber, etc, but we realized it early on and had to go to the nearby Winn Dixie for groceries, just picked it up. The only issue I guess is 1/2 the living room view is facing Front Beach Road (and the McDonalds sign is a bit bright at nite), and you are a bit low to where you hear the street noise (ambulance, etc). Having said all that, I would still rent the same unit again, it was soo much more spacious than the 2 units my other friends rented. It was great that the owner left 2 beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet.
