Everything was great about this last vacation and the place we stayed contributed greatly to our overall feelings about this last vacation. The company whom rented the house to us was great to work with. The only thing I could give as a recommendation to the home owners would be to replace the bed in the upstairs room. We plan on going back to the very same house this next year.

My family and I just returned from this location a few days ago and had a blast. Everything you need is just a few minutes away. I strongly advise you to rent the golf cart because you can take it to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, pool, and shopping all in the resort. The house is very warming and spacious. It had everything we needed to cook and also had some beach chairs to take with you to the beach. The TV's in the bedrooms are a little outdated but were fine with me because they had dvd players made into the TV so I could play movies for my two year old. The only thing I would have liked would have been an updated golf cart or fix the headlights because it was hard to see while driving at night. I loved that it is very peaceful and quite when you just want to relax and swing. Also very nice to walk out the back porch and go fishing in the pond. All in all a great place to stay and will start making this an annual vacation!

This is our 5th year staying in Laurel Grove, and our 4th different cottage, with the property manager Have Travel Memories. First, our comments regarding 1380 LG.Nice location and well kept exterior; including gas grill, porch furniture and golf cart (extra cost). New owners purchased in Spring, 2014, so we are sympathetic to their challenges. They have some work to do. The living room couch cushions sink to the fold-out bed frame. Inadequate lighting in living room to read. The MBR and upstairs guest mattresses are very uncomfortable (all of our guests commented). All bedroom TV's are very dated; they are difficult to see (brightness and clarity). The property manager (HTM), I'm sure, does a great job for owners, as evidenced by the considerable work they do every time an "owner" is scheduled to arrive at their rental for a few days. Actually, we find that process amusing. We have found HTM unresponsive to issues that are important to renters and, particularly, with maintenance requests. This year, upon arriving, we had to park the golf cart in the grass for a couple days, to accommodate our guests vehicle on the concrete parking area. The Service Manager promptly told us to move it or we be fined $100 by the LG Association (which is absolute BS according to all the owners we know who have golf carts). One would have thought, the first time the saw us upon our return, they would rather thank us for returning for the 5th straight year, renting 3 months or more?????They most always want you to run around and "trouble shoot" their service issues, before they finally agree to come and help. We have moved to new property managers in the future. Laurel Grove is a beautiful village and we know the new owners will most certainly make the required improvements.

Great rental! Tucked away in a peaceful cove! The only improvement would be an upgrade in tv in bedrooms! Very well furnished otherwise. Would rent again!

We have been coming to Sandestin for the winter months for many years, and have stayed in Laurel Grove all but one season. This lovely home is nicely furnished, well decorated and contains most necessities for a comfortable, long term stay. Lovely view of the pond in the back. The nicest Laurel Grove home we have rented.

One of the nicest rental homes we have stayed in. Beautiful home with a golf cart that is a must! So convienant to take the golf cart to the beach, dinner or grocery shopping!I would recommend this rental or neighborhood to my friends and family for sure! The only thing I would have liked better is for the neighborhood pool to be bigger or have a kiddie pool.

This house is beautuful. Cozy and charming neighborhood. We stayed the week of Easter and loved that we did not have the crowd from the beach. I would recommend renting the cart as everything you will need is in the resort. The lake behind the house was great for fishing so bring fishing poles. The home has a well stocked kitchen. Everything I needed was supplied and I cooked every night.Dave was awesome. He helped us with the golf cart how to's and was quick to respond to our grill issues. Thanks Dave!

I rented this property and another one and couldn't have been more pleased with both locations. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and there wasn't a thing we needed during our stay because these homes were fully stocked with all the essentials and more. I would rent from again with no hesitation.

"This home was emaculent!!!"
Pictures does not nearly explain how wonderful this home is. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Even has beach accessories for the kids. We had a party of 8 and there was still plenty of room for more people. My next visit to Destin, I will definitely be staying at Laurel Grove. The community was nice and quiet. This is a great place to bring children. Thanks for sharing your home with our family...

"Laurel Grove area is a Great Location!!!"
Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality on our last minute booking. We had never stayed in this area, but are so glad we did...with the golf cart and bikes we were just minutes from anywhere on the resort. The house was spacious and very nice. We were a party of 6, and were very comfortable. Thanks again, we enjoyed our stay very much!!!

"Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!"
Had a great time!! The only "complaint" we have is that the upstairs bedroom was not very cool. Would suggest trying to remedy that situation.

The house on Laurel Grove was beautiful . We loved the lake behind the house to where we could watch the ducks in the morning and listen to the frogs at night. The house itself was very nice and clean and with all the extra's.

1380 Laurel Grove is a really wonderful place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. Just around the corner from the pool. The house was nice and open and we loved having a washer and dryer for beach towels.(Detergent was even included!)Two suggestions: The upstairs gets pretty hot during the day and the air mattress tends to deflate over night, giving a hammock effect by morning. Also, the sprinklers would drench the front porch and everything on it each morning. Not big issues, just suggestions.Overall we loved our stay. We traveled with our four children ages 23 - 11. Everyone had a great time. Thanks for your help! Would love to book again through you.
